Here at Nordic Walking East London Essex, we are extremely passionate about Nordic walking and are committed to helping the local Nordic walking community achieve their health and fitness goals.
Based in the beautiful Epping Forest, there are a variety classes throughout the week that can be enjoyed with like-minded people. Over 2,000 people have now completed the ‘Learn to Nordic walk’ course, many of whom still enjoy exercising regularly outside in nature away from the gym environment.
Nordic Walking would definitely suit you if:

Nordic walking is also a great form of outdoor exercise for rehabilitation after an operation or injury. You’ll soon be back on track with your favourite sport!
All classes are accessible to all ages and fitness levels. No fancy kit is required either…..just a comfortable pair of trainers or flexible walking shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather conditions. Poles are also provided.

Hi! I’ve always been passionate about health and fitness, having competed at a high level in a number of sports including Netball, Hockey, Athletics and Cross country running. I am still a competitive runner and have found Nordic walking to be a fantastic cross training tool for my sport! I enjoyed a successful career as a PE teacher for 18 years before retraining as a Personal Trainer and setting up my own business. Being passionate about helping people achieve their health and fitness goals, I came across Nordic walking in 2010 and haven’t looked back since! I get so much joy and satisfaction from helping people transform themselves and their lives!
